Heartbleed

Hi,

Excuse me if I have missed any posts regarding this, or any relevant AMX updates, but does anyone know if any of AMX products is vulnerable to https Heartbleed?

If so do you know if if there any plans for patches?

Many thanks,

Bezkarl

I would guess no since that deals with SSL encryption and we don't do that in Netlinx. Additionally, the web interface is not a dynamic environment like a computer or server. The Duet side could conceivably be suspect but the rather closed community of programmers and environment make it unlikely in my opinion.

    Thanks for this Eric.

I have just had word from one of my contacts that AMX do use a version of SSL for https access to an NI for example, but this is not affected.
