Apple Macbook video output with N-Series 2222 Decoder

When using an Apple Macbook Air as a source for a conference in our lecture theatre - it outputs video ok to Projector, Ext Screens etc. - but the Record Out HDMI (N-Series 2222 Decoder) to OBS or X-Xplit the image goes black after a second?

Has anyone experienced such an issue and if so - what is the solution??

    What are your HDCP settings? Goes black and stays black?

    sounds like HDCP... maybe the OBS / X-split is not HDCP compliant, or they are e.g. HDCP 1.4 only, but the Mac may send HDCP 2.2.
