slow load time when I transfer code to controller

Normally it takes about 3-4 minutes to transfer compiled code to the contrioller, NI-3100. Now for somew reason it has been taking 16 moinutes - I really havent added much code, so anything I shoulkd check to make sure it is not boggled down. Like cache size , mem size which I deleted. but still slow

How is your pc connected to the NI-3100? Is it through the network stuff (local switch, wireless,etc.)?
If so, connect your pc direct to the NI-3100 lan and check if the code is transferred faster...
In this case something is going wrong with the network otherwise it maybe a malfunction with the master lan
My NI_3100 is connected thru the network. I also have another Master N I-4100 connected - for testing purposes.This long delay just started happening in last week or so. was looking at the settings under telnet, like clear max buffers but that doesnt seem to make transfewr faster.
You might try changing the IP address on the NI and your PC to a verified unused address (scan with Advanced IP Scanner, free download). There may be a new or changed device in the network conflicting.
