Error 65?

I get the following error message every minute or so on an NI-3100 with firmware 3.21.343 with or without a program running:

Line 1 :: Error sending UDP packet (IP=EFFFFAFB) (Error=65) - 12:35:22

Could this be related to the new time server functionality of this firmware? (it is disabled in the web server pages)

Also: i am experiencing a lot of problems with the NI losing network connection to my pc (touchpanels seem to connect fine)

Thanks for any help!

    same thing

    I am getting the exact same error and symptoms on a NI-3100 with 3.21.354.

    Have you resolved the issue yet?

    thanks.

    This doesn't solve the problem but it may make the error message go away:
    use "set udp bc rate" and set it to zero.

    Correct. Will certainly fix the issue.

    Gregr,
    can you please check your IP settings on the master.

    I think to remember that the actual cause of this was a missing gateway setting on the master (gateway is empty or 0.0.0.0). Somehow, the gateway and/or subnet settings are used to determin the broadcast address for the network.
    If this procedure fails (because of missing or invalid IP settings, you will get the error message.

    Best regards,
    Harald

    And if you don't have an operating gateway, enter the masters IP address.
