Having major problems with these remotes. The customer goes away for a couple of days and the remotes stop working. He wants to kill me because he can't even watch TV

    Have you upgraded to the latest firmware?

    Also, are they leaving them in the charging cradle while they are gone? (I had a client whine about wireless phones never working, and it was because the batteries were dead due to never being placed in the charging cradles :) )

    Not trying to be a smart ***, just curious. I have a client with an R4 that has locked up twice in the last few weeks, but I think it was due to power problems locking up the gateway. I am going out there tomorrow to upgrade both the remote and the gateway to the newest firmware because I hope it can't hurt :) We have also made sure the gateway and charging cradle are both on battery backups with enough capacity.
