VPT-CP Batteries

I have a one of these with a dead battery. Does anyone have a source to replace the battery at a reasonable price. Has anyone tried to fashion any battery pack as long as it is a 6-cell NiMH 7.2 3700mAh.

    AMX still stocks and sells them. A customer I had in Oklahoma got one of their local battery stores to make a new one for 50% of AMX cost.

    Well if you live in Europe you can buy them from Comm-tec, the german distributor that sells some that are well better quality than original one :)
