VoIP Touchpanels and Third-Party SIP

Greetings,

I have a feeling this has probably been discussed at length.

Can the VoIP touchpanels be used with other SIP servers like Asterisk?

    I tried with 3CX SIP server that?s works fine. But only the panels with SIP functionality

    The AMX SIP Gateway actually is Asterisk. To be more precise it is a re-branded Digium Asterisk Appliance.

    Be advised that SIP Telephone is an "Option" and only available as an option on the 1000i, 8400i & 700i.

    I also just notice that the 500i doesn't provide SIP Telephony support as an option either.
