Firmware ID is invalid for NI-900 1.13.7

I amattempting to update two NI-900's with the new device firmware 1.13.7. I have successfully updated the master firmware to 3.30.371. The 900s aren't currently loaded with any software and are simply acting as remote devices for a 3100. The 3100 was upgraded without any problems whatsoever.

When attempting to send the 1.13.7 firmware to device 5001, I get the error "Firmware ID is invalid". The 900's are systems 2 & 3. Current device firmware is 1.13.6 on both of them.

Has anyone else done this upgrade successfully? This error makes it seem like the file is corrupt.

Thanks.

Please verify if you have the NI-900 device firmware. The master firmware of NI-900 and 700 is the same, but the device firmware is different:
    NI-900: SW2105_09C_NI900_Device_v1_13_7.kit
    NI-700: SW2105_03C_NI700_Device_v1_13_7.kit

I used the firmware from this link: http://amx.com/techcenter/downloadConfirm.asp?fn=/assets/firmwareFiles/SW2105_09C_NI900_Device_v1_13_7.kit

I just downloaded it again and attempted to send it to 5001:1:2 and still get the invalid firmware id error.

are you sure the current firmware is 1.13.6. sometimes it is not shown correctly in the tree. make sure you reboot the controller.

if it still donesn't work, call tech support
