Can the AEC cards be used as just Analog input cards?

I have a Blu 120 I just got, and it has AEC cards loaded. I want to use the unit to eq my studio monitors. Do I need to switch out the AEC cards for Analog input cards, or can I use these and turn off the AEC?

The AEC input block in the Configuration offers AEC outputs and Dry outputs. The Dry outputs are not processed by the AEC circuitry, so you should use those.
