BLU-USB Without a Computer

Is it possible to use a BLU-USB directly with a phono preamp (or generic A/D component) that has USB output? Or are the PC and its drivers/SW required in the chain for operation?

It's a class compliant device, the BLU-USB, so assuming that whatever you are connecting can support the same, then it'll work fine (though just as a 2x2). No drivers are required for class complaint operation.
