Difference between Macro-Tech 2401 and 2402

Hello,
I have a Macro-Tech 2401 amplifier and I'll maybe retrieve a 2402. Can I use both together in the same audio system ? Are there differences between their amplification circuits ? Do they "sound the same" ?

MT2401, MT2402: basically, same unit, spec wise, 2402 being an upgraded version of 2401 (power supply and protection). I heard and repaired both: typically sounds the same, great Crown sound!
