Software neglect DBX Driverack PA2

I own and have been working with the Drive rack for about 4 years. Every since the OS 10 They have been behind! Now on Catalina Cannot use the Mac OS 64 BIT Version because not a copy exists. Im out raged by this because the mac tool is a handy tool as well as the IOS version that still works but not mac. Sounds like the last time with the IPAD version. Keep an eye on version updates. But times are moving fast paced. About to ditch the DBX entirely...

We have sent in an escalation for a Catalina version, but this has not materialized, hopefully soon.

  • Still waiting for an update for Catalina!!!!

It will be coming, which I know it's not as quick as you'd like but guaranteed it is to be updated. Just asked, again no exact schedule or ETA info I can impart at this time. Appreciate your feedback.

I've been told that yes it will, but I have no ETA

  • I am past Catalina and running on Big Sur... I just bought this rack and you're saying it will not run on MAC is that correct? Unless it's an old mac before Catalina?

No update for ETA as of now, but I am constantly telling them that we need this to be released ASAP

Bought a PA2 and am surprised that no current version of MACOS will work. Can't believe that ths problem is two years old. Harman, this is not that difficult. Get help from Apple to update the old version.

  • Make that problem three years old now epicure (nice handle btw). Would really love to be able to manage my PA2 from my Mac using the most recent version of MacOS. Kinda shocked to see that such a well-renowned product is lacking software support to this extent for this long. Still love the product, but this definitely dampers the excitement a bit.

Wish I had an schedule or ETA but as of yet, nothing to report. I am letting them know constantly. My hands are tied until they decide to do something about it.

My suggestion to you is open the source code and post on git hub and post official link and make it open source so the users can start updating them selves or 3rd party dev can make a software updates or create own that works.

As it’s been more than enough time users are patient even I’m at a point as I love the hardware but this support is b.s.
  • The PA2 Software update has been available for some time (announced in another thread). Not sure what issue you are still having?

It’s not displaying correctly on iPad. Do you not qc your own software you should be aware of this blatant error of all the functionalities are not working like they are suppose to on iPads or iPhones or android devices.

Why not just open source code up and let community drive development if you software that your team obviously doesn’t care to update. Or cannot meet customers demands.

The PA2 Control App does not have any display issues on iPad reported and is working on all platforms (Windows, Mac, Android, iOS). Only the Venu360 Control App currently has an issue with display on iPad with iOS 16.1 and up, and we will have a fixed version released soon. It is working fine on Windows, Android and Mac versions.
