Well, I remember a post on the PSW where they spoke numbers and I haven't found it yet, but with a +4 level, that tops out @ +20 that's 8 db less than the XLR version of the Yamaha MG series mixers if memory serves...Plus you have the benefit of humm rejection, and ground loop isolation.
Sorry about the visual..I can change it if you guys think I should...I jusat thought it was funny.. maybe not... and yes there are times when inconsiderate mouthy people make this a thankless NO/job, but for the most part if they actually READ and provide the info necessary for us to help... But I just thought it is so apropos for the aggravation of a computer that doesn't work... the people that don't listen, the state of our world...
the people that don't listen, the state of our world...
I'll not be political, but... this whole bail out thing....
I'll be honest, I have concerns whatever way is goes (pass / fail and in what form).
Either way, whether its \"fat cats\" being greedy, idiot people buying more house than they could afford, or politicians requiring lending to someone with no job in the first place (because it's fair?), IT IS A MESS. And, someone that shouldn't benefit will, but that's where we are. I'm half through my mortgage. Anybody want to pay it off for me? Most of the interest is paid already. That will really help the economy (mine anyway).
Don't change your graphic on my account. I think it is hysterical, just disturbing! All you really ask for participation on this forum is that people dig in and try to figure things out. If after doing some reasearch they still have questions, you all are here to help out.
I really think this is a great forum because you lead people to answers as much as giving them answers. The whole \"teach a man to fish\" arguement.
Anyway, on the topic of unbalanced out. If I use a DI or a Converter Cable, I am still sending unbalanced out and am subject to whatever sacrifices that creates. So if it really bothers me, I need to get a new board. But I think I will go to a converter cable, just to take another thing out of the chain.
Not sure where I saw it. Parts Express maybe? But there are small inline \"balancers\". RCA to XLR, I believe. These did not step up or down the impedance, just \"balanced\" the signal.

Your graphic of the guy smashing his head on the computer is very disturbing. Is that what moderating a forum will do to you?
