Roll back to iOS 10.3.3 if you need the iOS control app

Have you recently discovered that the iOS control app won't launch after updating to iOS 11?

Roll back to 10.3.3 while you still can. Apple is still signing 10.3.3 as of right now, but will probably stop within the next week or so. I don't expect dbx to have an update any for while, so if you need the control app in the near future, best to roll back now.

If you're not sure how to do this, just google search "how to roll back to iOS 10.3.3". There are lots of tutorials on how to accomplish this. Just keep in mind, you can't restore to a backup that was created while on iOS 11 once you've rolled back to iOS 10.3.3 (if that's important to you).

Reason: iOS 11 does not support 32bit apps.

    There is just something wrong with the approach Apple takes. If you need a pair or black shoes, Apple forces you to burn all your other shoes to show alligence. Microsoft does the same, but just not as often.

    That's incorrect in this case. Apple started informing devs over two years ago that the change to 64bit was coming. Up to iOS 10, there was support for both 32bit and 64bit architecture. There was generous forewarning. iOS 11 beta 1 dropped back in June, and the GM was release on 9/19. So even if dbx chose to wait things out until they were forced to update to 64bit, they still had three months to figure it out, and chose to make no mention to dbx users that their pants were down and to avoid updating to iOS 11.

    Apple stopped signing 10.3.3 last night. It's in dbx's hands now...

    I understand that, but my comment was that Apple tells customers that if they want OS11 they must say goodbye to 32-bit.
