BBE with Powered Speakers

This is my first post so please forgive me if my discussion is already on here somewhere else. I currently have a BBE and passive Peavey tops, for DJing. My buddy currently uses powered Peavey's but they are actually kinda heavy (15"s). So I was looking at some 12" powered speakers, equivalent to the weight mine are. But do I still use the BBE? I love my audio sounding sweet at my gigs and get quite a few compliments. I do have 2 powered subs I also use. Just trying to keep my set up as simple as possible with the best sound 😉

    Hello, technically this forum is for dbx products. Just for FYI.

    My understanding is the BBE is Dynamic/Sonic Range expander and you are not limited to a certain sort of speakers that you are using. Should be fine.
