PLEASE READ ME FIRST: HARMAN Professional Technical Support

HARMAN_RobHARMAN_Rob Product ManagementPosts: 173

While this forum is a great place for our community to get together, support each other, and talk all things HARMAN... keep in mind this should not be considered a substitute for our live Tech Support. Tech Support engineers may or may not be on the forum helping our users, but the only direct path to proper Tech Support is to call us.

If you're having an issue with a product, feel free to call our HARMAN Pro Tech Support at +1 (844) 776-4899 or on the web at https://pro.harman.com/service . There is a form submission on the website, but I would recommend calling for the quickest service.

This contact number will work for US as well as International, though some regions outside of North America get support directly from the HARMAN distributor in that region. Feel free to check with your distributor on the best method to get your product supported. You are still welcome to call the number above; our Tech Support coordinators can help get you connected to the right person/group regardless.

Each of our Pro brands also has their own dedicated Support pages/resources on their respective websites:

AKG: https://www.akg.com/help
AMX: https://www.amx.com/en-US/support
BSS: https://bssaudio.com/en-US/support
Crown: https://www.crownaudio.com/en-US/support
dbx: https://dbxpro.com/en-US/support
DigiTech: https://digitech.com/en-US/support
JBL Professional: http://www.jblpro.com/www/support/contact
Lexicon: https://lexiconpro.com/en-US/support
Martin: https://www.martin.com/en-US/support
Soundcraft: https://www.soundcraft.com/en/support
Studer: https://www.studer.ch/en/support

Let us know if you need any other info, and thank you. Enjoy the forums!

If you are looking for something else, feel free to PM me and I will help get you to the right spot.

I filled out the form here for support on May 4th: https://digitech.com/en-US/support

I received no email acknowledgment that the form was successfully submitted, and no one from Harman has contacted me.

I understand that calling will provide a quicker response, but even so, it shouldn't take this long to hear back (or NOT to hear back) from a website form submission.

Obviously it's difficult for me to know if you filled out the form fully/correctly, successfully completed the reCAPTCHA bot verification, etc., so I cant comment on the form's effectiveness.

Always CALL. You will talk to a live person and get a case number that you can continue to refer to & check up on.

Okay, but I also sent an email directly to [email protected] on May 4th at 4:02PM EST. It didn't bounce back so I assume it was successfully sent. Still no response 11 days later

I'll call, but if you're going to present both the website and email address as support options, they should work. If not, then the support site should be updated to reflect your advice to me: always call.

There really is no Digitech anymore. When Harman was bought by Samsung, The brands Digitech, dbx, DOD were totally phased out of existence. No offices in Sandy Utah anymore. I was an Engineer there for 14 years and it is all gone now.

You're correct that the offices in UT are now closed, but incorrect that there is no Digitech anymore.

That consolidation of similar resources/knowledge/expertise to a single "Center of Competence" was a result of the restructuring:

    • HARMAN Pro's expertise in acoustics is now focused in Northridge, CA (former home of JBL).
    • Video & DSP expertise in Richardson, TX (former home of AMX).
    • Lighting expertise in Aarhus, Denmark (former home of Martin).

Do you have a link for an instruction manual for the DC1017 Walkie Talkie’s? I’m in Australia and am not prepared to pay for an international call to get user guide. Your assistance and support is appreciated. Thank you.

I know is a old unit but since all the lights go on when connected I thought there may be a way to fix it... is there a way to reset the thing or trubleshoot???

I love this thing and since apparently digitech is not producing units like this anymore, I'd really like to fix it

Unfortunately our schematics are not available to the general public, even for discontinued products as per our Intellectual Property Policy
