Lexicon Alpha

I just installed a Lexicon Alpha. Initially, I'm just using it as an audio interface for a midi keyboard to play software instrument apps. I know it says not to use USB hubs, but how about powered hubs? When I first started using the Alpha, I had it going into a small d-Link powered 4-port hub and had no problems. However, on my most recent session, I had severe stuttering behavior with Pianoteq v 6.5.1 on my Mac which didn't happen before. Bypassing the hub eliminated the problem but I'm just curious as to why it worked fine through the hub earlier.

    Not sure what got it to work intermittently, but we definitely do not support or work with powered/unpowered USB hubs nor do we recommend their use.
