As the IO-82 was discontinued sometime ago, we have not tested it for Mac OS Catalina 10.15. It may still work though in any case. Follow these suggestions:

Make sure you have the latest driver for the I-O series installed:
    https://lexiconpro.com/en-US/softwares/lexicon-i-o-driver-v3-3-11-mac-osx-sierra

You may need to make sure the OS will run it, you can use this guide for Zoom products, you would just find the Lexicon driver in place of Zoom etc.:
    https://clicktime.symantec.com/3JrpbXEXwsVtTjRHREbUFyE7Vc?u=https://www.zoom-na.com/news/troubleshooting-product-not-recognized-mac-os-high-sierra-1013

Also check the app in Mac OS Called Audio/Midi Setup (this is not the System>Preferences>Sound) and see if the device is listed and try swapping the Frequency/Bitrate from 44.1kHz 16bit to 44.1kHz 24bit for example.

Try that and if you still need assistance let me know.

Unfortunately the product is discontinued and may not work for Catalina, we only tested up until 10.14, there will not be new drivers unfortunately

There is not a driver for the FW810S unfortunately no. Only for the IO Series does the 3.11 Driver work up to and including Mojave

Thank you for this workaround. If anyone ends up here with the same issue, going to the Audio Midi Setup app and adjusting both the Input and Output Format to "2 ch 24-bit Integer 44.1kHz" got my Lexicon Lambda to work on MacOS Catalina again! No need to throw the interface away! 😅

It is a handy tip. I am pretty sure though that we never were able to get any of the Lexicon interfaces working on Big Sur. The I-O Series we only tested up through 10.14 Mojave.

It is important to note that the Greek series (Alpha, Lambda, Omega) interfaces were all Mac OS Compliant and did not require a driver install, unlike the I-O Series that did.
