Clean Signature 12 with DeoxIT??

Hi. Is it safe to use DeoxIT products on my Signature 12 mixer? Thx.

    No, you should never use a cleaning product. It will strip the component of its original lubrificantes. Its the poor mans fix. The pot or fader should be stripped and cleaned professionally removing dirt, then re lubricated. Best is to change the worn dirty part.

    What SamplerOne said.. It is a poor man's fix and more often than not a temporary fix at best. Particularly as it pertains to things like pots, switches, and faders.
