Media Player issues on UI24R

in Soundcraft Mixing Consoles

The "play" USB port has bombed out several times when playing media from a thumb drive, 2 different ones in fact.
It will play a few minutes and then just freeze up, oi would need to power cycle the unit for this be fixed.
The USB ports on the side seem to be working perfectly though, why is that?

    It's horrible bug in ver3.0/3.1/3.3 firmwares.

    Play slot is useless. It should be renamed as dangerous slot.

    Use Rec slots and side slots instead of the dangerous slot.

    If you insert a USB stick in safe slots then keep it there, Play slot can work longer.
