Right Microphone for live lyric recital

Hi everybody; I'm a lyric tenor, and sometimes I have to perform in places without the right acoustic and reverb. I noticed that often, most of the other singers uses gooseneck microphone to reinforce their voices; could the DAM Series (GN155 + CK 33 hypercardioid) be a good solution? I need a microphone that can reinforce my voice, keeping it natural, and it will be better if doesn't "take in" all the other instruments (piano, clarinet, double bass and sometimes percussion) and monitors on stage;)

You're on the right track with the AKG DAM series microphones and the pattern in your case will be very important. The DAM series offers omni, cardioid, supercardioid, and shotgun capsules. For your application the supercardioid capsule(CK43) would be the best optional capsule.
Ultimately, a head-worn microphone would be the best in your situation, it gets the microphone closest to your voice so the input can be reduced. In doing this it also reduces all extraneous input to the microphone.
