AKG Lyra + Android (Anchor)

Hi there, we purchased AKG Lyra for a podcast that we product on an android platform. We presently use the "Anchor" app with a Yeti Blue, and it "just work". I have plugged the Lyra in and it seems to record a bunch of static over the audio in the Anchor app. I have connected USB C - USB C as well as USB C - USBA via OTG. It occasionally works via OTG, but usually just overlays a bunch of static. We're about to return it, but figured I'd drop a line here to see if there is an easy fix. Thanks!
