AKG P420 no signal

Hello,

I have a brand new AKG P420 which goes into Steinberg UR22 Mk2 Audio Interface and all that into Laptop.
Used my Audio Interface with guitar for a few years now (so it`s working), but this is the first MIC I am trying to hook up.

I have no input signal from this MIC ..

+48V Phantom Power is on, Sound settings on laptop are checked - but I am not getting any signal on the TEST either..

No signal when trying to record signal in DAW..

Am i doing something wrong?
Anyone had the same issue?
Any solutions?

    make sure mic is attached to the interface snugly..
    and also in your daw make sure correct input is selected

    Is that a good mic for bass amps? I'm looking for a new microphone to use for recording.
    I have a Katana bass combo (https://ampizer.com/review/boss-katana-bass-110/) and although it has recording capabilities, I need a mic.
