AKG c636 availability

Hello There,
I ordered 2 c636 mics on sale from Musician's Friend in December 2021 and still have not received them. They have not charged me yet. I see other music gear websites have them in stock (including AKG) but not MF. I've checked with MF and they are "back ordered" and say they are waiting on AKG. Is it due to some chip shortage? What does AKG say? Any information will be appreciated.
