Control of Android Mini-PC

So I tried to thoroughly search for a thread on this, but didn't find anything. With the advent of the Android Mini PC unit (minix, etc) has anyone seen/developed a means for clean control via IP, or even an IR dongle? everything appears to be bluetooth with a remote/receiver pairing.
