Vert Application

Hello,

I've recently got a USB C******n IR Leaner - (much faster and more convenient than the mammoth AMX Learner Box). To convert from IR to IRL i was told to use an application called VERT.

However, the conversion isn't perfect, in that

1) If in the IR file you leave spaces the VERT bunches them all together in the IRL file
2) The converted IRL file doesn't always have the correct channel name against the channel it was copied/learner to. Sometimes it puts in weird characters or no writing at all.

Has anyone used this application and have a work around or know of a better way to convert for IR to IRL?

Thanks in advance for replies,

Ant

I use IRCodeDoctor, but it's cut-and-paste, one channel at a time. I haven't used it for capture, just translating hex codes, but as long as you can put raw hex, or even RC5, in it somehow, it will work. I wouldn't say it's necessarily a "better" solution, but it's an alternative.
