NXV-300 can not view

I have an NXV-300 that I need to design the pages for but for some reason I can not get my browsers to open the pages.
I have used Chrome, IE, and Firefox.
The browser all return the same error:
"access denied ("java.net.SocketPermission" "144.120.114.32:1099" "connect,resolve")"

My customer can use their laptops and can see the TP file fine but I can not.

Anyone had any luck?

Kenny

  • You need to add the address of the device to the exceptions list in the Java settings on the computer you're using.

In control panel->programs is the Java settings icon.

On the settings dialog box is a security tab. On the security tab is a button for "Edit Site list..." This is where you enter the address of the NVX-300

    Tony,
I made those changes but I still get the error.
I have even tried numerous laptops. The client can see the pages ut we have yet to figure what settings they have that allow it to work.
  • I'm pretty sure it has to do with the security settings of Java on the particular PC.

You may also need to change the Java security settings within the browser itself.

Did you check the computer firewall ?

    also the virus protection software

Did you get the connexion on any other site with this computer and an other NX-300 ?
  • Try using a VNC viewer, or a machine running Java 7. I believe there's an issue with the NXV-300 and Java 8.
