DGX-100

I just heard that the new DGX will have full audio switching!!! They also have done away with those terrible audio connectors.
There are a bunch of wonderful new features but those two are my favorites.

Carry on.

Unfortunately the DGX 100 still misses the mark. Only 8 analog ins and outs on any frame size? I just don't understand what the engineering team is thinking. The DM platform is much more versatile.

It looks like the cards do enable full audio switching on all of the video boards provided you're working with 2 channel PCM audio, however. So in a DGX32 you can have up to 40x40 switching, where the 8 analog I/Os become port numbers 33-40. It would have been nice if they could have provided 5 pin phoenix connectors instead of 10, so you don't have to pull two ports to work on one.

This is really what the first release of the DGX should have been. At least older units are upgradeable with the new CPU boards.
