Amazon Fire tv and echo looks good. i haven't used either yet. What has been your experience with it?
Quality of image?
Metadata access?
Voice control?

    Quality of Image is really nice with Plex (use it daily at home). Voice control is working pretty well now (running Android N preview on it).
    No metadata access, but you can control it pretty efficiently in CEC (impossible with AMX as they didn't discover CEC exists, but works really fine with competitor DM for example, or using a CEC interface).

    if you need cec interface i have seen cec to serial adapters
