RPM and IR Ports for simple control?

Will RPM, in future releases, allow control and setup of the IR ports? More specifically - Will we be able to add more then 4 displays and use IR to control on/off functionality?

There is no immediate plan for IR control of display devices due to the inconsistent user experience when the TVs only support toggling power and input functionality.
