EWS plugin cannot connect to exchange server.

Pardon me for this question since I am a noob to RMS.
I am having a server machine installed Java,Tomcat,SQL Server, RMS and exchange plugin installed.After installing when i try opening the Plugin and add the outlook server address and details of the user id,password and domain and click on test connection.Its says failed to connect to the exchange server. Client is using office 365 cloud service.

  • Are all those applications installed on the same server? May not be related to your issue but there is a max number of rooms with which you can get away with a single VM.

    Also, check out the installation manual https://adn.harmanpro.com/site_elements/resources/2230_1522189251/RMS-SCH-EWS.InstallationManual_original.pdf particularly the "Adding the Scheduling Interface to RMS Enterprise" that starts on PDF page 10 of 30. Info on server connections is on PDF page 14 of 30; make sure you have the full URL entered and in the correct format (i.e. include the http:// and the /rms).

    @Harman_Rob yes all the application are on same server.Each time I tried connecting it gave me the same error.
    But to my luck I tried restarting the server machine and also had some couple of other issues with the processor so tried restarting the processor too and it worked.
