Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone could tell which SFP transceivers are compatible witch ENC/DEC-N23x2 ?
Documentations is a bit unclear about it. It even mixes SFP and SFP+
Does anyoune know?
Goal is to use a copper transceiver to provide network to the attached display.
Thanks

IF your display only supports 10/100, it won't work. The 2300 series SVSi SFP ports are gigabit ONLY. You can put a 10/100/1000 SFP in the port, but the port itself only supports Gig speed and nothing will spark up at 10 or 100.
Display has GBit interface, but I tested with my Laptop which definitivly has a Gbit interface and didn't get a link.
Hmm.... I can't even remember for sure exactly which SFPs I was using when I was testing them. I'll try to look it up. But I was able to get connections at Gig speeds, with SFP modules, just not 10/100.
I'm using these on N23xx units without any issues

Here's the Gig module I tested successfully: http://www.10gtek.com/SFP-1.25Gb-s-GE-1000Base-T-CAT5-Copper-100M-38.html
I can't find the specs on the 10/100/1000 module I tested, someone else ordered it and apparently didn't enter it into our purchasing system because it was ordered ad-hoc and then sent right back.

Ok, thanks all for your feedback, I'll try these out and post my results.
