Cannot Set hostname on VARIA-100N

Greetings,

Unboxing a few new varia-100n panels running 1.11.29 firmware from the factory and the hostname field remains grayed out when trying to change the hostname,

tried factory defaulting, configuring through manager and going to an older version of firmware but the updater refused to let me go to an older version of firmware. Seems there isn't any SSH or telnet on these as well to allow cli config of the name, unless I'm missing something.

Manager has no where to set a hostname either.

The manual shows the hostname as an editable field, so I assume this worked in the past with older firmware, just as it did with all other generations of AMX touch panels..
