hi.
md-701 touch screen is broken, how to guide TP4 UI file out?
There is only one NX-3200C central console and one md-701 touch screen.
md-701 touch screen is broken, there are no source programs and TP4 UI source files in the field.
In this case, is there a way to export the TP4 UI file?

First, the panel either is a MSD-701 (so TPDesign4), or a MD-702 (TPDesign5).
There are 2 ways to capture the design file. Both require that the panel is still online in the system.
by NetLinx Studio
connect to the system with NetLinx Studio. Read the onlinetree for the address of the panel. Then go to menu Tools -> File Treansfer, select the "Receive" tab. Click "Add", then select the type of file you want to receive (depending on your panel model, use G4 for TPD4, or G5 for TPD5). Click "Add", select where to save the received file. Add the panel's device parameters. Click OK, then in the main File Transfer window, click "Receive"
by the corresponding TPDesign program (dont have a master on hand, so can't guide thru all menus...)
Menu Transfer -> connect. Add the master's IP address, and connect. Then Menu Transfer -> Receive from panel. Select path and name where to save, then click the panel address you want to receive.
Hello, the touch screen has been damaged
as long as the panel is connected to the controller, and so visible in the onlinetree of the NetLinx controller, it should be possible to receive the file by one of the 2 ways above.
If it is not online to the NX3200, it becomes tricky, and hard to explain/guide without the unit on hand...
Not sure if you mean that (just) the touchpanel is broken or the whole device is broken, I had a few touchpanels where the touchpanel glass was broken but it did still show u up in the online tree. Still could use it with a VNC viewer logging into the panel.
It could be that the touchpanel file is password protected in which case you can't open the file after downloading. In the older NXD-1200V at least there was an SD card inside with all the files on it. Don't know if that is still the case. It all depends on how desperate you are...
