ENOVA DGX & DXFP-RX-4K

Hi All,
We have a DGX with DGX-I-DXFP-4K connected to several DXF-RX-4k60.we intend to leverage the rs232 on the 4k receiver to control the projector.
However, we can’t find any of receivers on the online tree. After a series of test, we find out that DGX is not able to share the network with the receivers through fiber.
We have set all the Dip switch to 1 3 on and make sure DGX and Receivers are on the latest firmware versions.
Do you have any idea to this issue ?

By the way, there are also 1x DGX-O-DXFP-4K and 2xDXF-TX-4K60. All the transmitters are working properly and can be found on the online tress.

reading your description, you may have mixed up TX and RX.
    In general:
Transmitters (TX) -> Input Boards ("DGX-I-")
    Output Boards ("DGX-O-") -> Receivers

These Boards need to be the DGX Encluse a DGX100 series model (DGX-800 / -1600 / -3200 / -6400), or and upgraded older frame that now would be a 100 series.

Running the eclosure in default, it is running in "Auto Setup" Mode, that means the Transmitters and Receivers get IP address and Device Number automatically from the DGX, depending on slot and port number. In that mode, the TX/RX dipswitch settings are ignored.

What firmware do you have on the DGX, TX and RX?

Sorry My bad. i just wrote it wrong. There is an Enova DGX-3200 with 1x DGX-I-DXFP-4K connected to 2x DXF-TX-4K60 and 2x DGX-O-DXFP-4K connected to 7x DXF-RX-4K60. transmitter can wok properly. but Receiver can not be found on the online tree.
    Below is the firmware:
    DGX Mater:v1.8.200
    Controller: v1.1.50
    DGX 3200: v3.8.26
    Transmitter:1.8.5
    Receiver:1.8.5

Mixing them up can happen, no worries

    Firmware is good.

Is the DGX detecting the output boards? Do all boards match to the firmware 3.8.26? Please check in webinterface, Switcher -> System. Any firmware mismatches shown? If yes, please reload Switcher firmware 3.8.26 again

Is Auto Setup active (same webpage top left)? I recommend to use it...
    Just as information, in autosetup

    • transmitters get IP from the DGX in ICSLAN range 198.18.130.nnn and the get device number 45nnn, where nnn is the input number on the DGX they are connected to.
    • receivers get IP from the DGX in ICSLAN range 198.18.134.nnn and the get device number 46nnn, where nnn is the output number on the DGX they are connected to.

Worst case, to a factory reset on the receivers, remove power, push and hold ID button, reconnect power while still holdeing ID, the LEDs at front will begin to blink in a 1-second interval for about 10 seconds, and then when they get blinking faster, release the ID button.

Do the Receivers show AV routed thru the DGX? This should always work, no matter if the Receivers are on network or not.

The fiber units workes always fine for me. The only one fault I did once was to have a fiber cable that had 2 single connectors at the ends, and I forgot to connect them between board and RX as crossover...

  • we found receivers on the online tree after reloading firmware for DGX, although we didn't find any firmware mismatch from the web interface.
unfortunately receivers all disappeared after reboot. do you have any idea about this issue ? is this problem related to hardware? it might be the problem of output board?

Is "Auto Setup" activated on the DGX?
Worst case, I would do a factory reset on the Receivers, to get them (also) in Auto Setup mode.
remove power -> push and hold the ID button (requires a thin tool, like a paperclip), power the RX. After some seconds, the front LEDs will begin to blink in a 1-seconds, interval for about 10-12 seconds, then interval goes faster. At that point release the ID button.

Now the RX should come up into the Auto Setup range mentioned in my previous post

  • the DGX is Auto setup mode and i have already reset all receiver in the way you informed. it can be found from online tree once but will disappear after reboot.

So they disappear / never come back when the DGX reboots, or when the RX get rebooted?
How do you get them back online?

You use them with the included SFP modules, so duplex?

Do you run any other stuff on the ICSLAN network 198.18.x.x?
