Hi,
Rob
I agree that once in a while I use the forum to search for old topics that have slipped my mind. I visit the forum almost daily just to check and nothing much is happening here. Although I can understand that industries move forward, would it be possible to leave the forum in 'Read-only' mode? No new posts are possible, but it still can be searched. A big banner on the top of the page could make that clear. I've seen it elsewhere and it does work.
I "bump the counter" for providing the forum for read only after Dec 31st.
And I also "bump the counter" for a big message on the forum mainpage, that the forum gets closed end of the year.
Extremely disappointing, Especially considering how little Harman/AMX communicates otherwise. Sometimes it feels like the only updates we are getting about upcoming firmware updates is here. Does anyone know of any other good resources for Muse Programmers?
I vote also por at least a read only searchable forum.
But why close it?
Thanks everyone, the intent is to offer the forum threads as "read only" for future searches and browsing. That will likely be posted on our Anytime Help Center https://help.harmanpro.com and details are currently being worked out.
As far as ongoing regular communication about the brands, each brand does have its own mailing lists and quarterly newsletters available. They can be founds on each brand's website at the bottom list of links called "Join our Mailing List."
