Using ^ commands (ie. ^ANI )

I might be wrong, but I think I've seen a few people with different posts (myself included) regarding problems using the ^ commands (^ANI in particular). In order for these commands to function, you must be dealing with the ADDRESS code of a button, not the CHANNEL code. The easiest way I found to deal with this is to simply set the address and channel code to be the same on buttons that require this type of interaction.

    Jeff,

I was going to say the same thing. In fact, personally, I set both the address and channel codes to the same port, channel just so I don't confuse myself.

I usually set them the same, but once in a while it's not possible ... for example, if you have a bunch of addresses that are feedback only, then youhave to add buttons later with both, and the addresses are already in use.
