Files open as Axcess Code..ARGH...

When I open up older netlinx files in studio, they are for some reason color coded like axcess files and things like // dont make stuff comments...It looks like everything opens like it is an axcess file...where do I fix this...it has to be a setting...also if you go to build - complie, it tries to compile it as axcess...have to do "compile as netlinx'
All of the files were originally coded in netlinx

    If you aren't using a workspace file to manage the project, make sure your default communication properties in Studio is set for Netlinx and not Axcess. The syntax coloring and file notation is defined by the default communication properties if no workspace file is used.

    This has caught me in the past and since then for all projects - even older single source file ones - I create a workspace. The workspace communication properties for the system override the default communication properties in netlinx. (plus it's good policy to use workspaces ;) )
