I Can't get a Wireless IP Connection to my CV7

I have an NI4000 with to G3 panels, 4 DMS's a MVP8400 and a CV7. Netlinx Studio is seeing all the device except the CV7. When I go to the setup page on the CV7 it is eeing the wireless signal, but not connectint to my sytem. The clock is show a date and time in the 1970 time frame. Anyone know what is going on? I s their bad firmware, a bad memory chip or a bad CMOS battery?

    The clock is not battery buffered (no Modero is buffered, but only the TPI4), so if the panel doesn't get connection to a master, it starts at 1.1.1970 0:00 after a reboot.

    The wireless card for the CV7 is optional, and must be set up in the menu WIRELESS CONNECTION in protected setup. The IP address of the wireless card should not be the same as for the build-in network connector.

    Next is to check the network connection in general. Can you ping the CV7 from your computer? Can you ping it from the master (in terminal do a PING 192.168.1.2 or whatever IP the panel has)?

    Has the WAP a MAC address filtering enabled and the MAC address of the CV7's WiFi card isn't listed?

    In the WAP, you also should get a list of WiFI MAC addresses connected to the WAP. Is the MAC of the CV7's WiFi card listed (in a NXA-WAP200G it's menu CONNECTED)?

    If all the basic wireless stuff works we can go on to check why it will not work on ICSP protocol level.

    The Ping Works

    When I ping its IP Address from the CMD Prompt in Windows I get a reply to it is on the network

    Please also check if you can ping the panel from the master (connect to master with terminal or telnet and do a PING <panel ip>). Next I would check is if the panel can ping the master. If telnet is activated in the protected setup, connect with telnet tool to the panel and do a PING <master ip>

    If both directions work, the next would be to turn on debugger on the master with msg on in terminal, to see if there something happens when the panel tries to connect to the master.

    Update

    this is the message I'm getting:

    Line 188 :: ICSPTCPRx28: Ignoring/closing connection from IP address 192.168.1.152 (Duplicate of Device=10002:1:0) - 12:20:35

    Put static IP's on your panel and master. Then use the URL method (system connection) to connect the panel to the master, inputting the master's IP. See if you have better luck that way.
