Would you like to participate in 'Beta Testing' NetLinx Studio? NetLinx Studio will be made available to forum members who would like to preview the next release candidate. If you are interested please respond to this post.

    The short answer is.......

    What's New for NetLinx Studio 2 - Version 2.5
    FEATURE - Added the ability to send/receive DMS Pinnacle configuration files
    .KPB) generated by the KeypadBuilder program.

    BUG FIX - Editor, Save with "Automatically Stamp File with Creation and Last
    Modified Date" turned on was causing a compiler problem.

    BUG FIX - Mio DMS File Transfer - The "Smart Transfer" option should be
    unavailable for file receiving.

    BUG FIX - Having problems with AXS files with large, nested comment sections
    not working properly.

    BUG FIX - "Export to Go" report dialog problem corrected.

    BUG FIX - NS2 crashes on Mio KPB file transfer to an Axcess system.

    BUG FIX - NS2 cannot establish communication with Mio Attache keypad during
    the file transfer.

    BUG FIX - NS2 crash on attempt to send "blank" Mio keypad files.

    BUG FIX - The R1 remote and Attache keypad file transfer has direct-to-device
    addressing problem.

    BUG FIX - File type associations for NS2 files has the wrong icon association.

    BUG FIX - NS2 crashes during editing when when entering DEFINE_FUNCTION.

    BUG FIX - Unable to upload(retrieve) source code from an Axcent3 master.

    BUG FIX - "File > Open" menu option problem.

    BUG FIX - "File >Save Workspace As" menu option problem.

    BUG FIX - Double clicking on an AXS file not opening properly in NS2.

    We (and I of course) want to do some beta testing.
    So I would be very happy to get my hands on the beta.

    I would like to beta test the new software. As I have seen there a few bugs that could use fixing on the current version.

    All the problems we addressed with the early 2.5 are fixed. Let's get it! :cool:

    As we all know, when you think you're fixing one thing, you could be breaking another without knowing it. Extensive beta testing should be done before a public release; we saw this problem with the previous release of NetLinx Studio 2.5.

    Noticed none bug in that preview.

    My suggestion: In export workspace file to go, add an option that would allow to export Touch panel files or not (as it's often large files) and it's interesting to be able to export workspace with or without these files

    Would be great to be able to beta test other products and/or softwares ;)
