help with axcent3 programing for a rookie

I am new to AMX programing and could use some help if possible. I have a very simple setup but have no idea how to code for the axcent3 pro controller. The VPT-CP is all set the way I want it. My setup is as follows:
AMX gear:
1- VPT-CP LCD Controller
1- Axcent3 pro Controller
(all associated RF gear and ir emitters plus power supplies)
Gear trying to control:
Plasma (NEC MP2)
DVD player (Samsung DVD-M101)
Directv (Samsung sirs70)
Receiver (Sony STRDE825)
Some sample source code that I could load in to Netlinx studio would be fantastic!
