OK, this is slightly frivolous, but I'm wondering if there are significant differences in the processing power of the various TPs. I hooked up an AXIS 240Q camera server at my owners house, and put up the same interface for the MVP-8400 and the NXD-CV12. Thinking myself clever, I told him the frame rate would be visibly slower for the MVP-8400 with its 802.11b connectivity. He, of course, made me go move around in the driveway to demonstrate. I could not have been more wrong. The 8400 was probably getting very close to the spec'd 5fps, but the CV-12, with it's hard-wired CAT5 connection, performed very poorly, I was moving 5 to 10 ft between refreshes. And I'm a big guy, I don't move that fast. I don't get this, what would explain the difference? Does the 8400 have more processing power than the CV12? I could not find any reference to cpu rates in any of the literature I looked at.

Since your curious.
The MVP-8400 was designed with an AMD Alchemy Au1100.
The NXD-CV12 utilizes a 500 MIPS PowerPC processor.
