Transfer Aborted - Firmware ID is invalid

I'm attempting to load most recent firmware into a ME260-64 running v2.31.137.
2010-64_ME260-64_Master_v3_12_335.kit

Right when the first file should be sent I get a dialog box stating:
"Transfer Aborted - Firmware ID is invalid"

Is there a way around this?

You first have to update the master to 2.31.139 before a v3 update can be done. This is a "special" with the ME260 cards.

    Great, Thanks!

    No Luck

I did this - update to 139 - and still get that same message "ID Invalid". Any other suggestion?

Is your ME card really a NXC-ME260-64 ? A ME260 can not be updated to Duet.

Marc is absolutely right. The 64 cannot be upgraded to duet.

I think you mean "ONLY the 64 can be upgraded to Duet" :-)

    Apologies for misrepresenting you Marc!

It's the NXC-ME that cannot be upgraded to Duet (I incorrectly thought I was referencing this box).
  • No problem :)
