  • In Keypad Builder, you've got to specify the IP of the controller (not the keypad itself) to send the files to. If that doesn't work, maybe more info would help: controller? connection mode (serial/IP)?

The controller is NI2000, and the keypads are connected via Axlink. I can see the keypad in the online tree when connecting IP. File tranfer timesout and fail when I try to pull the program files

Urk... I'm a bit of a Newbie myself; I was hoping I could contribute a simple answer to the forum, but I've never run those keypads off AxLink, so I don't have any other ideas for you. Sorry.

    Mio Keypads

Which model of Mio are you running?

    They are Mio Classic-D panels
  • Check the Device ID:

"I can see the keypad in the online tree when connecting IP. File tranfer timesout and fail when I try to pull the program files".

Make sure you have the correct device ID specified in the "Send Configuration Files" dialog of the KeypadBuilder application. You must specify a full device ID (ie. a D:P:S like 130:1:4561). If you see the keypad device in the online of NetLinx Studio, then you should be able to send the file down to the device via the KeypadBuilder application.
