ZigBee?

Hi, I have been reading up on zigbee and it sounds very interesting and an ideal solution for retrofitting homes.
Has anybody taken a look at the zigbee enabled products and integrated into an AMX system?
Cheers
Phil

I will let you know how they worked out after I have a chance to play with one of them.
I've been trying to get my hands on those for months. I think AMX made a mistake announcing them and should have held off a bit until they were more likely to be released. My sales people gave up on the last project they thought they could be used on, and came up with a alternative; now it looks like they might stick with that solution for future sales rather than have to deal with more potential delays. It's a bad precedent pitching a product and not having it when promised, it tends to make people not trust you with any subsequent releases.
I put in an order for a two of the remotes just to have something in the queu for when they are released.
I have one two projects that I have pitched the R4's, but these projects won't be ready for any equipment until June at the earliest. I also made sure the client signed an aggreement that the remotes may be substituted for a different product or the client my have to upgrade of the remotes will not do everything I think they should be capable of accomplishing.
I just like to get new toys right when they are released, so as long as I have a potential project, I order well in advance sometimes.
Hello guys, I have a technical question about the amx zigbee gateway. I want to use a wireless zigbee motion detector to "trigger" a show-start generated with an amx master. Is this possible to do with the amx zigbee gateway?
regards, Markus
It doesn't look difficult if your motion detector can be controlled through TCP/IP with a protocol
