MVP-7500 Slow Response when on AC Power

Hi everyone,
I recently got a MVP-7500 back from a customer who upgraded to a MVP-8400, I plugged it in to charge up and had poor response from the touch screen. I left it for a while to charge and tried again, still no joy. Thinking it was calibration I (after about an hour) managed to get it calibrated and it was working fine ... until I put it back on charge!! It has the latest firmware.
Just wondered if anyone had seen this happen before? When it's on battery power the touchpanel is fine, but while on charge buttons appear 'stuck down' for about 10secs. If I disconnect from AC while a button is stuck the button releases straight away and the TP is normal again.
Any ideas? It's gonna be pretty useless if it won't work while charging.

I got it to the calibration screen (thinking the same thing), but the membrane wouldn't operate.
This panel - we now know - ran its batteries so flat that it wouldn't even flash the amx logo on boot up.
I placed it on the AC, then got a batt 2 err message. I swapped it into slot 1as directed and the panel looked normal...except that it wasn't charging, nor would it operate.
..all this might not be quite what happened to you, but, removing both batteries for a minute and then restarting the panel has completely resolved all issue - including the membrane working
Hope this might help
