New Product Possibility?

I was talking with an A/V consultant last week and we were discussing the offerings by AMX in the keypad realm when I it dawned on me... why not package the R4 in a single gang (display only) and a double gang (Display with buttons) offering? Obviously this all hinges on the R4 actually being released and being functional, but I whipped together a couple of rough concepts

AMX get this guy a leather jacket.
The cost would be the only thing that scares me. If the unit was left 'as is' then you could save a lot of time pulling cable.
On the other hand, no one is going to punch in a channel number without looking at the remote. I know *I* don't, anyway. Supply the customer with a bunch of favorite buttons, including buttons that allow them to save favorites by holding down the button for N seconds, and the number pad on the remote won't be missed.
That's just my two cents. I would vote for the keeping the directional pad hard as opposed to the number pad.
