What's the diff benefit btwn RAM & CompactFlash on a TP?

I get that CF stores the files, so the fatter the bitmap, the more storage you need.

Less clear is the RAM implications - what does that gain you? If you bump up the CF capacity, will you hit a RAM ceiling? Slower on animations/transparencies?

It's completely different, you can compare CF with hard drive in a computer and RAM with RAM in a computer.

-> Bigger CF means you'll be able to store more graphics, pages, buttons, icons on it for display by Modero. Firmware files are also stored on it, that's why you need to be sure you get at least 5/6M avalaible on it before you do a firmware upgrade.

-> RAM is where firmware will store dynamically pages displayed, graphics, animations, sounds, so if you have some heavy pages it's better to get more RAM so display is more fluent and less delayed by reading the CF. But I think that new Modero, VG series, are no more expandable regarding RAM as it's built in. First generation of Moderos had a RAM stick as in PC that you could exchange and upgrade.

Hope it explains well difference between RAM and CF :)
