Close System Files?

Is there a way to close all open files associated with a given system in Studio?

Well to close a system I usually just go to file-->close work space. That will display a prompt to close all files associated with the work space, click ok or close or what ever it says and all files that pertain to that system or work space close. To open a system I open the work space .apw file but that just fills the workspace file tree and doesn't actually open a file the main editing window.

Don't know if that's what you meant?

I am familiar with that, but I am refering to a workspace that has multiple systems in it. I have the original system in the workspace as well as the new code. I am using the same or similar names on some of the include files. Sometimes I have 10 or so includes open and after editing the wrong files a couple times I thought it would be nice to be able to close the open files from a specific system.

Now that I write this, it would be even better if I could lock a system or even certain files to prevent accidental changes.

Are all of your includes part of the workspace? That would prevent them from closing with the workspace. I use this feature quite extensively, and the only time I have ever had a file not close was when it wasn't in the workspace tree.

Under the Window menu option, you have the "Close all Windows" to close out all opened files. Not System specific, but if you need to close all you files in a hurry, this can be a handy short-cut.
