The resone is that I am having bad ip connections between the TP and the controller without any reason.. I thought maybe firmware update will help.

Just what it says, you don't have enough memory. There needs to be enough space to hold the new firmware + the old firmware + the running code. Quite frequently, if you clear out the code files, there will be enough room to load the new firmware, then reload the code when you are done - but I would not recommend doing that remotely.

    Thanks

    how to do it?

I didn't have problems with the NI3100... I guess he got more memory

Telnet into the master first, then type in "clean doc" at the prompt. This will wipe it clean, so make good and sure you have backups of all the programming, IR files, everything. Then load your firmware, and after that, reload the program. That's why I recommend you do it locally - you are wiping the thing out ... if anything goes wrong by remote, there isn't much you can do to fix it. At least locally you can connect RS-232.

just upload an empty program, or a very small one, and when the firmware upgrade is done reload the original program

    I Know Whats Wrong ;)

Adys, The Firmware File you have is for the Master Processor.. in specific Term for Device 0:1:0... so make sure not typing 5001 in the device ID field

i had this problem before, i wasn't an AMX Dealer yet and i didn't have the access to the files on the web so they sent me the wrong file :D

    Cheers

i had do the "clean doc" command in telnet, but it still can't upgrade with this memory problem. So, what can i do?

Are you using the correct firmware file? There are different files for the NI-x000 and NIx100 series.

    Yes, the firmware is correct.
  • Last idea I have is to update to 3.12.332 first, before doing the final update to 3.21.354. If you don't have that file, send me a pm with your email address.
